Setting up personalisation in Toqan web

Personalisation is one of the awesome features in Toqan that allows you to make it your own. You can, for example, tell Toqan:

  • What language to respond in
  • What role you’re in
  • What industry you’re in
  • What output you prefer (bullets or paragraphs)
  • That you always want it to provide links to online sources
  • That your writing style is informal/formal so emails should follow the same tone
  • The kind of language style to follow when editing (for example, US English or UK English)
  • What your company is and its URL so Toqan doesn’t confuse it with any other similar-named business

For instructions on how to set it up in Slack, go here. For Toqan web, have a look at the steps below.

How to do it

Click on the icon on the top right of your screen. Then click Profile.

Add your details in the relevant boxes and remember to click Save preferences.

You can always come back here to make changes if you don’t like the output Toqan provides or your needs have changed.
