Awesome assets: all about this cool feature

If you’re using Toqan web, you can make use of the Assets library to save time on queries. This feature is not available in Slack.

What is the assets library?

This is a library where you can access content over and over again to reuse in future instructions without having to scroll endlessly or search through all your chats.

Save responses that you will go back to over and over again

If you’ve done a major piece of work and you want to save the responses for whatever reason (for example, you’re using it in a presentation later, or it’s part of a larger project you’re working on), save it to your Assets library. In the example below, you can see how easy it is to find that previous result and how you can use it in a fresh prompt.

2. Add it from a chat response.

How to use items from your assets library

There are two ways to do this.

1. Go to your asset library. Click on Use next to the relevant asset you want to use. It will attach to a new prompt. You can upload multiple files.

2. Go to the clip icon in the prompt section and select the relevant file(s).

Good ways to use the asset library

For best practices: Attach a best practice document to your interactions when relevant instead of explaining to Toqan every time you’re working on a set of outlines. Examples include writing guidelines and coding principles.

Templates: If you frequently use the same style, this is good to put in your asset library. This could be templates that you just need to add minor detail or it could be past examples Toqan can reference for your new response.

Curated knowledge: Asset libraries can also be useful for shorter term projects. You could upload a project plan, for example, or production planning to make it easy to reference when you’re getting Toqan to help with tasks related to those projects.
